Cassie began working at the early age of four as a cone collector for reforestation. Along with her family, she has collected millions of seeds from Pacific Northwest plant life. Some of the seeds were from giant evergreen trees such as Douglas-fir, Silver Fir, Noble Fir, Grand Fir, and Western Red Cedar.
Later on in life, she attended one of the top schools of Forestry in the United States of America. Cassie earned 3 degrees in Science for Natural Resources, including Water Quality, Forestry, and Park Management.
Cassie went on to collect more seeds, but from various wildflowers and shrubs. She also learned propagation techniques and greenhouse management first hand. Many of the seeds she collected have been planted and used in reforestation and restoration projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Today, nestled in the foothills near Mt. Rainier in a small town called Buckley, Wa. Cassie spends her days as a mother to a beautiful daughter and baby boy. The support of their amazing father allows Cassie to be a stay-at-home-mom and aspiring artist. Her artistic expression grows with each day, just as the love for her wonderful little family.
